Dear friends of DuMA:
We believe that we have a responsibility to our staff, guests, and community to stem the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, the Dubuque Museum of Art offices and galleries will be closed to the public starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through at least Friday, April 3, 2020.
Organization events and on-site group meetings will also be suspended during that time. Dubuque Museum of Art staff will continue their work, while spending some time working remotely. Phone calls and emails will be returned as promptly as possible.
Programs currently impacted below:
- ArchiTREK Lunch and Learn, March 19th
- FLOW Lunch and Learn talks, March 18th and 25th
- K-8 Student Art Exhibition Reception, March 26th
- First Fridays, April 3rd
- All Drop-In, Daytime, After-School, and Weekend Art Programs
In addition, the three-part spring Lunch and Learn Series with Carol Ehlers, sponsored in part by the Art Institute of Chicago and originally scheduled for April 8th, April 15th and May 20th, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for later this year.
It is our hope that by taking actions like these, we can do our part to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 so that we can get back to doing what we love—connecting our community to its cultural heritage and exceptional art. In the meantime, we urge you to listen to local, state, and federal health officials for guidance and recommendations.
Be well & stay healthy!
