DuMA Art Adventures Online is a kid & family friendly Facebook video series featuring Caitlin Donald, Education Fellow, sharing fun and imaginative art projects to do at home.

3/24: Focal Points In Art - The focal point of a painting is the spot where the viewer's eye is naturally drawn. We will talk about focal points and what they are using baby frogs.
3/26: History of Self Portraits - A self-portrait is a picture of your self. Learn how self portraits have changed throughout history and make your own lego self portrait.
3/28: Cardboard Art Projects - You can make pretty much anything out of cardboard if you try! Learn how to attach cardboard in different ways to make fun art projects that have moving parts.
3/29: Realism vs. Abstract -There are many different ways to draw and paint. Explore the techniques of realism and abstraction 
3/31: Cave Art - We will explore why people made cave art, when in history they made it and how they did it. Then you can go outside, find a flat rock and make your own cave art!
4/2: Textures in Nature - We will go on a fossil hunt and draw the different textures we find.
4/4: First Stamps - Learn about stamp making in Ancient Mesopotamia, then go outside and try making your own stamps in the mud!



Free family programs beginning at 1 PM every second Saturday of the month!

Second Saturdays feature family-friendly and culturally-diverse performing arts, acts, and hands-on art activities that the entire family will enjoy.

Toddlers ages 3-5, accompanied by a parent or grandparent, are invited to enjoy a merry time creating art at the Museum. Young @ Art is held the second Tuesday of every month, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM. Specific dates may be found in our Event Calendar.

Tuition is $3 per child (Supplies furnished.) Registration is required by 12 PM the Monday before.

Babies and their caregivers are welcome to participate in a 30-minute tour of the Museum exhibitions, focused on shapes, colors and textures. Baby and Me tours are offered every month. Specific dates may be found in our Event Calendar.

The newly remodeled Glab Family Art Studio offers an inviting space for children and their families to create art through a variety of interactive art activities, free of charge. The downstairs gallery area also hosts annual student art shows featuring selected works of art from area student artists, while the classroom is host to the Museum’s youth art classes and Summer/Spring art camp programs.
