About the Artwork: People of the zodiac sign Leo are hardheaded and unable to fail, according to Nicolas Sokoloff, author of The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac that Salvador Dali illustrated in 1967. When a Leo realizes what s/he is good at in life, Sokoloff writes that Leo’s become successfully limitless. However, a Leo’s pride and ego tend to consume much of their self, as they need constant admiration. French painter, Marchel Gromaire, and the French poet François Villon, are two famous Leo’s which Sokoloff mentions. (from: Sokoloff, Nicolas. The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac.
