Interesting fact about the Photographer: “Photo fever” had so much taken over Edward Curtis, that by the year 1891, he had moved to Seattle, sold the family brickyard, mortgaged the family home, and started a photography shop with his new business partner, Rasmus Rothi. The Rothi and Curtis, Photographers business was then established in downtown Seattle. (from: Makepeace, Anne. Edward S. Curtis Coming to Light. Washington D.C.: National Geographic, 2002. Print.)
