Alfred Caldwell: Architect, Landscaper, and Teacher
A Presentation by Mr. John Vinci, FAIA

The prairie-style shelters and landscapes at Eagle Point Park in Dubuque are the masterwork of renowned architect, Alfred Caldwell. Mr. John Vinci, FAIA, is an award-winning Chicago architect who was a student of Alfred Caldwell’s at Illinois Institute of Technology in the late 1950s. Mr. Vinci’s presentation will provide a rare first-hand insight into Alfred Caldwell’s life and work, including his landscape and shelter designs for Eagle Point Park.
