Grab & Go Art History Projects – Prehistoric Cave Paintings
Looking for something different? Stop by the Dubuque Museum of Art and pick-up an art history project to go! In November, we’ll explore the creation and symbolism of prehistoric cave paintings. Young At Art Online
On the second Tuesday of the month, Young At Art goes online! Preschool-aged kiddos can join-in with a parent/caregiver for a reading of a Caldecott Award-winning picture book and related art project using materials found around the home. This will be a pre-recorded 15 to 20 minute free program for 3-6 year olds that will be posted on the DuMA YouTube and Facebook profile at 2 pm the day of the event. Instructor: Hana Velde

Second Saturdays, Fever River Puppeteers-Ivanushka and the Magic Horse
Join us for a lively performance of "Ivanushka and the Magic Horse" - A Russian Fairy Tale by Fever River Puppeteers. A artist talk with Illinois artist Nichole Gronvold Roller discussing her Up Down and Through exhibition. Gronvold Roller explores Midwestern landscapes and architecture through her irregular polygonal canvases and abstract kaleidoscope imagery.
