The Dubuque Museum of Art will extend its open hours to include Sundays from 1:00-4:00 PM through the summer, beginning Sunday, May 9, for Mother’s Day.
Mother’s Day promotions include free admission for moms, a $5 gift shop discount, and an interactive scavenger hunt for families.

The Dubuque Museum of Art, in partnership with Voices Productions and with additional support by Trappist Caskets and Humanities Iowa, is hosting a temporary exhibition of Dana Harrison’s I Am A Man mural at the corner of Bluff Street and 8th Street in downtown Dubuque.
The Museum will host a free community conversation in Washington Park on Sunday, April 11 at 1:00 pm between the artist and Museum Curator, Stacy Gage Peterson. The rain date is April 18.
Attendees can purchase lunch from the Happi Hibachi food truck, which will be at the park before & during the event.
Painting, weather permitted, will begin Saturday, April 10.
A artist talk with Illinois artist Nichole Gronvold Roller discussing her
Up Down and Through exhibition.
Gronvold Roller explores Midwestern landscapes and architecture through her irregular polygonal canvases and abstract kaleidoscope imagery.
This free artist talk will be pre-recorded and posted on the DuMA Facebook profile and YouTube channel the day of the event.
The Up, Down and Through exhibition continues through February 7, 2021.
On the second Tuesday of the month Young At Art goes online!
Preschool-aged kiddos can join-in with a parent/caregiver for a reading of a Caldecott Award-winning picture book and related art project using materials found around the home.
This is a pre-recorded 15 to 20 minute free video series for 3-6 year olds is posted on the DuMA YouTube and Facebook profile at 2 pm the day of the event.
