Interesting fact about the Photographer: During a time when women’s rights were quite absent, Curtis’ wife, Clara, was known to have her hand in the photography business as well. Having experienced more education than her husband, Clara edited many of Edward’s proposals and submissions to magazines, helped manage his photography business, and still found time to keep up with the housework.
