Artist Statement
As a studio artist in the Driftless region, my work addresses landscape from an abstract point. This series, Greetings, is composed of collected paper cards which have been cut and reconstructed, woven and stitched, revealing handwritten notes and photos. Random combinations create a simple sketch of moments that build a complex structure.
