Story Hour

Gather around as we listen to a story that relates to a theme or work in the exhibition then continue your adventure with a self-guided gallery search in the Museum. For families with children ages 3–6. Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Space is limited; first come, first served.

Panel Discussion: Creative Aging

A panel of regional artists, writers, and actors will discuss how they continue to push the boundaries of their respective art forms and remain vibrant and active members of the arts community as they grow older.

Lecture: Charles Stuckey, Ph.D.

Art historian and exhibition curator Dr. Charles Stuckey will deliver a presentation examining the work of Janet and Kathy Ruttenberg. Dr. Stuckey has held senior curatorial positions at some of America’s leading museums, including The Art Institute of Chicago; The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C; the Minneapolis Institute of Arts; and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. The co-curator of major exhibitions including The Art of Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet 1840-1926, and Toulouse-Lautrec: Paintings, Dr. Stuckey has lectured, published, and taught extensively and is a contributing editor for Art in America.
