Young artists will explore the theme ‘Art and Nature’ while spending mornings at both Swiss Valley and the Arboretum, as well as visiting the Museum’s galleries for inspiration to create their own works of nature-inspired art in a variety of mediums.
The Museum’s educational philosophy focuses on experimentation, problem solving and “thinking outside the box.” Students create art in a safe and positive environment, finding inspiration in the Museum’s exhibitions and collections. Originality and self-expression is encouraged.
Instructed by Hana Velde, Rachel Spurling, and Caitlin Donald. All supplies furnished.
