Interesting fact about the Photographer: After working nineteen years for Edward Curtis as a writer, William Myers left to go into real estate. Curtis was blindsided by Myers’ decision, and had to hire a less experienced assistant, Stewart Eastwood, who had recently graduated from college. (from: Makepeace, Anne. Edward S.
