Over 70 inspired and innovative works by 22 regional craft artists working in ceramic, glass, wood, paper, and metal.
The Dubuque Museum of Art presents a new exhibition highlighting fine craft, with an emphasis on traditional materials handled in unexpected and innovative ways.
Opening June 27, 2020, the Dubuque Museum of Art 2nd Craft Invitational includes over 70 handcrafted works by a select group of regionally-based craftspeople working in ceramic, glass, wood, paper, and metal.
The exhibition is sponsored by Premier Bank, Cottingham & Butler, and Mosaic Lodge #125 and runs through October 10, 2020. The 2nd Craft Invitational would not be possible without the exceptional curatorial team of Delores Fortuna, Maureen Bardusk, Paul Opperman, and Carole Speliç.
This exhibition continues our recognition of the many talented craft artists in our region - more than we could bring to a single exhibition – and presents a new group of exceptional regional artists.
